Club Photo's Garvey's

Enjoy Looking at our Club Race Garvey's
All the race garvey's are hand built. Orginaly all the race garvey's were built only of wood. But over the years with new materials like fiberglass, the garvey racer's started expermenting. Today there are combination boats, With the main hull structure built of wood and then a fiberglass [ cloth & resien ] skin installed over the entire boat. But as we know racer's they started building garvey's of all fiberglass. This process made the boat lighter. allowing the racer to go faster. But all garveys are under strick guide lines for each race class that the boats race in.
